The challenge

General, wayfinding and meeting-room screens.

The hotel needed a combination of general-purpose, wayfinding and meeting-room screens throughout the building.

Using a mix of Windows clients and system-on-chip screens, LaunchPADS was engaged to deploy the system and set up templates to serve both staff and guests.

The solution

Screens that follow
the booking system.

LaunchPADS connected all of the screens to a hosted server and set up multiple templates, including a connection between PADS4 and the hotel’s room-booking system.

Through that connection, the meeting-room and wayfinding screens updated automatically to match the bookings, with no manual changes needed. The project record notes that this saved staff time setting up the screens.
